2024 Summer Music Camp

Do you like to sing or play the  guitar, bass, drums or keyboard?  

Join other Middle and High School  students for this FREE camp!  Some musical experience is required. 

Learn to play contemporary Christian music  and be a part of a band! Camp includes  rehearsals, activities and refreshments Monday  through Thursday with a concert for family and  friends on Friday.

THE PLAN
We will meet at FCC Stanton from 4pm-8pm Monday through Friday, July 8-12. Monday through Thursday, we will learn more about our instruments, learn some songs to perform, take time for a snack, and have some time to sing and play together. We will have some great local musicians as instructors for the week. On Friday, we will meet to practice at 4:00pm for a couple of hours, and then your family and friends can come join us in the church sanctuary for a concert at 7:00pm. 

WHO CAN COME?
Summer Music Camp is open to students entering grades 6 thorugh 12 in the fall of 2024. Unfortunately, we cannot teach you to play an instrument in four days, so it is important that students have some musical background. On the application form, we ask you for a basic history of your musical interests and training. 

We hope to form two bands for the week, based on experience levels. Both bands will learn two or three songs to perform on Friday.
